1 c. Butter (1/2 lb.) Soft
1 tsp. Vanilla
1 c. Pecans - Cut Into Pieces
1/2 c. Light Brown Sugar - Firmly Packed
2 1/4 c. Flour

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar, add other ingredients slowly. Put a little flour on hands and form into balls.

Bake 20 minutes at 350º.

When cool, roll balls in confection sugar.

"It will be thick and the first time I made them I tried 2 to 3 first (for size) and they must not flatten out. Don't be scant with flour. the butter must be soft but NOT melted."
