2 t. salt
2 t. whole basil leaves
2 t. tarragon leaves
2 t. whole thyme leaves
2 t. ground savory
1/2 t. pepper
orange marmalade

Directions:
Directions:
Combine seasonings (dry) and stir well. Sprinkle inside hens with seasonings. Brush skin of each with butter and sprinkle with seasonings. Place breast side up on a rack in a shallow roasting pan. Pour enough water to cover bottom of pan. Bake at 325 for 45 min. Brush hens with butter again and spoon 1 T. orange marmalade on breast. Bake an additional 45 min.
