2 C all purpose flour
1 C sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/8 tsp ground nutmeg
1/2 C cold butter
2 eggs
1/4 C buttermilk
1 tsp vanilla
1 C finely chopped pecans
1 to 2 pears - chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Combine flour, sugar, powder, soda, salt, and nutmeg. Cut butter until mixture is coarse crumbs. Combine eggs, buttermilk, and vanilla. Stir in flour mixture until moistened. Fold in chopped pears. Spoon into 2 greased mini loaf pans and bake 350º for 35-40 minutes until golden. Remove from oven and place on wire cooling racks.
