3 lbs ground beef
2 Tbsp cooking oil
1/4 c flour
1/4 tsp pepper
1 1/4 c milk
2 (10 1/4 oz) cans consommé
1 onion chopped
potatoes-1/2 tsp marjoram
carrots-1 cup frozen peas (I use a big package mixed vegetables)
1 c chopped celery

Brown beef in oil in dutch oven, sprinkle with 1/4 c flour and remaining salt and pepper.
Bring to a boil, remove from heat. Add milk and consommé all at once, stirring to blend. Add onions and potatoes. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes, Add marjoram, carrots and celery. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes or until vegetables are tender. Add peas (or package of frozen mixed vegetables), Pour into greased 2 1/2 quart casserole. Add biscuits on top. Bake in preheated oven for 15 minutes or until biscuits are done.
