2 1/4 cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 cup margarine, softened
1/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 package (4-serving size) Instant Pudding and Pie Filling (vanilla or chocolate)
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
chocolate chips

Directions:

Mix flour with baking soda. Combine shortening, sugars, pudding mix and vanilla. Beat until smooth and creamy. Beat in eggs. Gradually add flour mixture and chips. Drop by rounded teaspoonful on ungreased baking sheet.
Bake at 375º for 8 - 10 minutes or a little longer.
