Ingredients:
1 medium ham
4 onions
2 bell peppers sliced in strips
2 pkg red beans
2 pkgs link sausage
bay leaf
tabasco

Directions:
Boil ham until meat comes off the bone (boil with whole onions, bell peppers, and bay leaf)

Add beans and cook slowly all day until beans are tender. You may have to add water now and then.
When beans are done, slice sausage in bite size pieces and add to beans. Cook about 10 minutes

Boil 8 cups of water and when it boils add 4 cups of rice (Not Minute Rice!) and when it returns to a boil, cover, turn heat as low as possible and cook exactly 20 MINUTES!
