Personal Notes:
The big annual PTA fundraiser at Hillcrest Elementary was the Fall Chicken Spaghetti Supper. For years Nene and Pat chaired the supper. Each student at Hillcrest was assigned an ingredient to bring so they could be a part of the process. Nene and Pat were quite renown for their meal and it always raised lots of money! One year we even got a new obstacle course with the proceeds. The spaghetti was served with a tossed salad and bread. I don't remember what was served as dessert, but it was most likely a cafeteria sheet cake!
