1doz eggs
1 3/4 C sugar
1/4 C flour
3 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Scald milk - beat eggs, sugar, & flour until creamy - Add to milk & stir until it coats the spoon-add vanilla. Serve warm with whipped cream and a sprinkling of nutmeg on top.

To scald - heat milk until there is a skim on top - do not boil.

Another recipe from Mimi. This is also the base recipe to make home made ice cream. When Joyce was about 16 and mother was in the hospital with Bruce she took the spoon to the hospital to ask mother if the was coated enough!!!!! This was Joyce's story and she told me to tell it!
