1 pkg. (3 oz.) softened cream cheese
1/2 tsp. liquid peppermint flavoring
2 - 2 1/2 c. powdered sugar

*food coloring of your choice

Directions:
Mix 1 package (3 oz.) softened cream cheese and 1/2 teaspoon liquid peppermint flavoring. Gradually add 2 to 2 1/2 cups powdered sugar. Knead until no longer sticky. Divide into four portions. Knead in food coloring of your choice. Shape into 3/4 inch balls, roll in powdered sugar. Flatten balls with a fork. Let dry at room temperature. Store loosely covered in the refrigerator.
