1 ½ c. all-purpose flour
2 T. sugar
1 T. baking powder
¼ tsp. salt
Dash of ground nutmeg
2 eggs, beaten
1 c. milk
1 c. applesauce
2 T. butter or margarine, melted
½ c. apply jelly
2 T. butter or margarine
2 T. water
Dash of ground cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
1. Stir together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and nutmeg.
2. Combine eggs, milk, applesauce, and butter or margarine.
3. Add to dry ingredients, beating till blended.
4. Bake on hot, lightly greased griddle, using about 3 T. batter for each pancake.
5. For 1/2 c syrup: In a small saucepan heat jelly, water, remaining butter, & cinnamon, stirring till melted. Yield: 18 pancakes
