"I have long believed that good food, good eating is all about risk. Whether we're talking about unpasteurized Stilton, raw oysters or working for organized crime 'associates,' food, for me, has always been an adventure."--Anthony Bourdain

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
Grandma Stechmann used to order chicks by mail. They came through the mail in a carton (divided into sections) of 100 pullets. Can you imagine the noise in that mailtruck if everyone ordered their chicks at the same time? YIKES! Back in those days if mom was going to visit a friend Grandma could arrange for the mailman, Pete Espe to give mom a ride to her friends house, while on his mail route. Groceries could be ordered from the store and he would deliver them.
