Dewey's Farm:

Dewey has maintained from the time he bought his farm that he wants everyone that comes to the farm to feel as if it were their home, relax and enjoy yourself. That is exactly how I feel every time I go there and everyone that I have talked to about this feels the very same way about this.
Dewey bought a farm that had two houses on it so mom would have a house of her own. She missed farm living so this is heaven to her. Dewey is on the road a lot as a truck driver so it is nice for him to have mom there to watch over things while he is working. You will see my mom talking to the animals and they know what she is saying. There are emus, goats, llamas, horses, Miss Ollie the Pig, ducks, chickens, cats and dogs. I probably have missed something here, but not intentionally. The song from the tv show "Cheers" pretty well sums up how I feel when I am there. The hardest part about being there...is going home.

Making your way in the world today
Takes everything you've got;
Taking a break from all your worries
Sure would help a lot.
Wouldn't you like to get away?

All those night when you've got no lights,
The check is in the mail;
And your little angel
Hung the cat up by it's tail;
And your third fiance didn't show;

Sometimes you want to go
Where everybody knows your name,
And they're always glad you came;
You want to be where you can see,
Our troubles are all the same;
You want to be where everybody knows your name.

Roll out of bed, Mr. Coffee's dead;
The morning's looking bright;
And your shrink ran off to Europe,
And didn't even write;
And your husband wants to be a girl;

Be glad there's one place in the world
Where everybody knows your name,
And they're always glad you came;
You want to go where people know,
People are all the same;
You want to go where everybody knows your name.

Where everybody knows your name,
And they're always glad you came.
