1 head of lettuce
1 c. salted cashews
1 can chow mein noodles
1 can water chestnuts
1/4 c. salted sunflower seeds

Dressing:
1 c. oil
1/3 c. cider vinegar
1 t. salt
1 T. dried onions
1 t. dry mustard
1/4 c. sugar
1 t. poppy seeds

Directions:
Directions:
A head of time wash and break up lettuce into a large bowl. Mix dressing ingredients in a separate container with a tight lid. Just prior to serving add cashews, chow mein noodles, water chestnuts, sunflower seeds, and onions to lettuce. Shake dressing; thoroughly pour over salad and toss. 6--10 servings
