Ingredients:
For the best garlic bread, always use real salted butter and fresh crushed garlic.
Minced fresh basil added to the garlic butter is tasty with an Italian dish.
Minced parsley ( can use dried ) makes it look prettier but doesn't add flavor.

Directions:
Directions:
We like to use sliced sourdough bread or some kind of crusty loaf. Place a loaf directly on the rack of the oven to get all sides crisp.

Broil sliced bread until toasted on BOTH sides. Garlic bread that is soggy on one side is not so good.
