½ c. Room Temperature Unsalted Butter
8 tsp. Sugar
2/3 c. Crisco
3 ½ c. Sifted Flour
1 ½ tsp. Salt
1/3 c. Ice Water
5 Granny Smith Apples
1 Red Delishous Apple
Mix in a bowl:
½ c. Brown Sugar
1/8 tsp. Salt
1 ½ Tbsp. Cornstarch
¼ tsp Cinnamon
1/8 tsp. Nutmeg
Pour over the Apple Slices and Gently stir to coat all the pieces.

Peel and core the apples and Slice roughly. Squeeze ½ a Lemon over the slices to keep them from turning brown.

Roll out ½ of the pie dough into circlt and fit it into a 10” pie pan. Put the coated Apple Slices in and dot the top with Butter. Roll out the top cover and put it on the Pie. Crimp the edges as you would like. Cut small Slits in the top to let Steam Escape. Dust the top with Granulated Sugar and Bake in a 450 degree oven for 10 minutes then reduce the heat to 350 degrees for another 45 minutes or until Golden Brown on top. Remove the pie to a cooling rack. Let the pie stand for 30-45 minutes before cutting.
