1 bag (12oz.) Reames (R) Home Style Egg Noodles.
1 lb. chicken breasts, cut into bite size pieces
1 large onion, chopped
3 T. olive oil
2 tsp. garlic, minced
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
2 cans (14.5 oz.) basil, garlic & oregano diced tomatoes or diced tomatoes (add some basil & oregano - (1/2 tsp)
2 cans (14.5 oz.) chicken broth or 2 cups water with 2 chicken bullion cubes or 2 tsp.chicken bullion granules
2 c. fresh basil chopped (dried does not work!)
1 c. grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Cook noodles per directions, drain & set aside. In soup pot, saute chicken pieces and onions in olive oil until chicken is done & onions are clear. Add garlic, salt & pepper. Stir in. Add diced tomatoes & chicken broth. Heat to boiling. Add noodles & basil. Bring back to boil then serve immediately. Sprinkle with cheese if desired.
