1 16 oz package Uncle Ben's rice
3 cans beef consommé
2 green peppers, sliced
4 tomatoes, sliced
2 onions, sliced
salt and pepper
6 pork chops

Directions:
Directions:
Brown the pork chops in a little oil. Put the uncooked rice in an oblong baking dish. Add 2 cans of beef consommé. Add the pork chops and push the them into the liquid.Add the sliced onions, peppers and tomatoes. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for about 2 hours at 350º. Occasionally lift the foil, stir and push things down into the liquid. Add more consommé if you think it is getting dry. It's done when the rice is tender.
