Ingredients:  
1/2 c. chopped onions cooked in 2 Tbsp butter until soft then cooled.
1 lb ground beef
1/3 lb ground pork or veal
1 egg
1/2 c. bread crumbs added to 1/2 c. of half and half and soaked for 20 min.
1 large can (49.5 oz) of beef broth
1/2 tsp of salt
pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Mix everything well.
Form small bite-sized balls and place onto wax paper.
Heat non-stick pan to med-high and saute meatballs in butter until medium brown in color. Next, place meatballs into simmering beef broth and slowly cook meatballs for 20-25 min. Chill overnight and remove the fat that forms on top and then reheat on stove and enjoy.

This is Pete's mom's recipe. One of Pete's and Sophia's favorites. We usually eat them right when they are done with mashed potatoes and homemade gravy. You may chill over night.
