1 French bread cut into 1 in. pieces (abt 12 cups)
1 stick butter
1 c milk
1 can pet milk
1 can condense milk
1/2 c sugar
1/2 tsp salt
5 eggs
5 lg ripe peaches, pealed, pitted and cut into 1/2 in pieces
1 cup peach schnapps
1/2 cup grade A maple syrup (I used honey )

Preheat oven to 350 - Spread cut bread on baking sheet, toast about 15 min. turning once, you are drying the bread.
PREP PEACHES In large skillet melt 1 stick butter 1/2 cup sugar and peaches,cook over mediums heat, stirring occasion about 15 minutes. Take off fire, add syrup and schnapps, return to fire, cooking until sauce is thickened,
In blender add, milk, Pet milk, condense milk, sugar and salt blend for a few minutes. In a greased 9x12 glass dish put the toasted bread, pour liquid in blender over bread, let sit and soak up liquid for 1/2 hour.
Lift peaches from sauce adding them to bread, then pour sauce over peaches and bread. Sprinkle top lightly with sugar. Bake for 45 minutes until puddings is set and top is golden and crispy. Let cool and serve with ice cream or whipped cream
