Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 lb loaf of bread, white, wheat, Italian, any kind
8 oz pork or turkey breakfast sausage
1 small chopped onion
1 or 2 ribs of celery chopped
1 to 2 cup chicken broth
3 tablespoons butter
2 to 3 teaspoons poultry seasonings
salt and pepper
1/4 cup water

Directions:
Directions:
We usually cut the bread into small pieces and let it dry out for a day or two. You can also buy bags of bread already dried for stuffing. Melt the butter and cook onion and celery until soft, add the sausage and cook until it is no longer pink. Pour mixture over the bread pieces. Sprinkle poultry seasonings, salt and pepper to taste. Add water to frying pan to remove flavorful bits and pour over the bread mixture, add chicken broth. Mix until bread is moist. Pour mixture into a 2 qt baking dish. Place into a 325 degree oven for 30 minutes or use this mixture to stuff your turkey. Can also be made without the sausage.
