Ingredients: 1. “43”, golden vanilla liquor from Spain
2. Tequila Rose (a strawberry cream liquor)
3. Heavy whipping cream (available in the dairy section of most grocery stores)

Directions: |
Directions:You can buy shooter glasses at Wal-Mart. They look like a stretched out shot glass. There are only three ingredients. You MUST pour these ingredients in the order given. The “trick” is to float each liqueur on top of the previous layer. Then slowly add the second and third layer drop-by-drop over the back of a spoon. Try to pour in equal amounts (1/3 of each). This makes a nicer look. |

Notes: Darlene & I came up with this recipe while I was going to Bartending School. It all started with a shooter called a “little beer” which is a shot of “43” topped with a small amount of heavy whipping cream . From there we got the idea for making a strawberry short-cake. Once perfected, I started making “shortcakes” at the local Amvets Post and, like the Patriot (included in this book), they are very popular. It’s easy to make and tastes just like a piece of the dessert Mom used to make. Serve this one at your next party or even as an after dinner drink. It’s sure to be a hit. THIS IS NOT A "SIPPING" DRINK --- DOWN THE HATCH!!
