Directions:
For filling add first four ingredients in a med. to large pot and bring to a boil. Add apple slices and cook 10 min. Combine corn starch and 1/2 c water, add to apples mixture to thicken. Remove from heat. For crust, combine first four ingredients. In a separate bowl, mix together last three ingredients and add into flour mixture until combined. Divide dough into 2 balls and let rest in fridge to chill a bit. Roll out both crusts so can fit as a bottom and top crust for a 9 x 13 pan. Grease pan, put bottom layer of crust into pan. Add apple mixture, place top layer of crust, pinch together edges and prick crust. Can sprinkle crust with sugar. Cook at º450 for 20 min. then reduce heat to º350 and bake for 30 more min.
