1 c water
3/4 c raw cashews
1 1/2 c vital wheat gluten flour
2 T whole wheat flour
1/2 t salt
1/2 t onion powder
1/2 t garlic powder

Broth:

5 c water
1 1/2 T chicken like seasoning (recipe in misc)
1/2 t salt
1 t onion powder
1 t garlic powder
2 T nutritional yeast flakes

Broth:
Stir all ingredients in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil while preparing gluten.

Gluten:
Blend all ingredients except flours until very smooth. Mix flours together in a large bowl. Add cashew liquid to flour mixture. Quickly knead, cut in 2 portions, shape into loaves or logs. Cut into 1/2 " slices & drop into boiling broth. Boil for 30 minutes. Ready to use as an entree or any recipe using chicken or turkey. Freezes very well.
