2 1/2 lbs sparibs or smoked pig hocks
3/4 c. vinegar
4 qts. water
2 tbsp. salt
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 lb. pitted prunes
1/3 box raisins





Directions:
Directions:
Cover meat with water. Bring to a boil. Remove scum. Cook for about 1 hour until meat is soft,add vinigar,salt,sugar and prunes.Add raisins. Cook until meat is tender. Thicken with flour and cold water.

Serve with raw potato dumplings or any desired noodles.
