2 Cups sugar
1 cup Light Corn Syrup
1/3 cup Water
1 16 Ounce Pkg. Raw Peanuts
1 Tsp. Salt
2 Tsp. Butter
2 Tsp. Baking Soda

Directions:
Directions:
In 3-quart heavy saucepan combine sugar, corn syrup, and water. Cook and stir over medium-high heat until mixture boils. Reduce heat to medium. Continue boiling at moderate rate stirring occasionally until candy thermometer reaches 250 degrees about 30 minutes. Stir in peanuts and salt. Cook until mixture reaches 295 degrees, about 30 minutes. Remove from heat, quickly stir in butter and baking soda. The mixture will change color and foam. Immediately pour mixture evenly onto 2 large well buttered baking sheets. Cool completely break into pieces. Store tightly covered up to 1 week.
