1 1/2 lbs. lean ground beef
1/2 med onion, chopped
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. ground cumin
1 tsp. black pepper
2 T chili powder
1 can chili style diced tomatos
1 can tomato soup
1 can ranch style beans

Directions:

Add chopped onion to ground beef in a large skillet. Cook untill meat is no longer pink; then add seasonings . Add the tomatos, soup and beans and stir to mix. Let simmer a few minutes to blend flavors. Place into serving bowls and top with grated cheddar cheese and a few chopped onions if desired. Serve with saltine crackers. Note: The tomato soup thickens the chili so no need to add anything to thicken.

If you like your chili hotter you can either add more black pepper or use ranch style beans w/ jalapeno peppers.
