1/2 c. margarine
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
pinch of salt
1 c. mashed bananas(about3)
1 (11ounce) can mandarin orange segments(drained)
1 (6 ounce ) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup cocoanut
2/3 c. pecans (chopped)
1/2 c. maraschino cherries(chopped)
1/2 c. chopped dates (can substitute raisins)
Confectioners sugar

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Cream margarine with sugar, then add eggs and vanilla. Beat till fluffy; stir in flour, baking soda and salt alternately with mashed bananas. Stir in oranges, chocolate chips, cocoanut, 1/2 cup of the pecans, cherries, and dates. Sprinkle with remaining pecans. Place batter into 2 loaf pans that have been greased and floured or sprayed with cooking spray. Bake for 1 hour. When cool sprinkle with powdered sugar.
