Cake:
2 c. unsifted flour
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. soda
1 stick margarine
3 1/2 T cocoa
1 cup water
1/2 cup Crisco
1/3 cup buttermilk
2 beaten eggs
1 tsp. vanilla

Chocolate Frosting:
1 stick margarine
3 1/2 Tbsp. cocoa
1/3 cup milk
1 box powdered sugar
1 c. chopped nuts
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cake: Mix together in large mixing bowl, flour, sugar,and soda. Set aside. Put the margarine, cocoa, water and Crisco in a pan and boil slightly. Pour over the dry ingredients, mix and add; 1/3 cup buttermilk 2 beaten eggs and 1 tsp. vanilla. Stir only until mixed well then pour into a greased and floured 9x11 cake pan in oven preheated to 400 degrees. Bake for 20 minutes only and remove from oven. While cake cools a little, make the icing. Bring the stick of margarine, 3 1/2 Tbsp. cocoa and 1/3 cup milk to a boil. Remove and add 1 box sifted powdered sugar, 1 cup nuts and 1 tsp. vanilla. Pour over cake while the icing is still hot.
