! cup Kasha - Medium Grain
1 egg beaten
2 tbsp vegetable oil
2 onions peeled and chopped
2 cups chicken broth
1 cup bow tie pasta ( egg bow ties if you can find them)

Directions:
Directions:
In a small bowl, coat kasha with beaten egg. Be sure to coat all of the grains. Please a medium fry pan on high heat. Add kasha and using a wooden fork flatten and stir kasha until the egg is dry and kernels are separated. Set aside
Get a pot of water ready to boil the bow tie noodles.
In a heavy casserole pan, heat the oil and saute the onions until clear. Add the chicken stock and bring to a boil. Add s/p , then the kasha and stir. Cook over low heat til kasha is tender about 10 minutes
Cook bow tie noodles. Drain well and add to kasha mixture.
Serve hot.
