1/3 cup evaporated milk
1 tbsp white corn syrup
1 cup sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Sift 2 tbsp sugar slowly into heavy hot saucepan or skillet. Stir constantly. When sugar is lightly browned add additional ingredients. Cook slowly to 238 degrees F., or until a few drops form a soft ball when dropped into cold water. Pour immediately over 4 cups freshly-popped corn, unsalted. Stir until all kernels are covered. Let stand until cool.
