Personal Notes:
Every year I build a gingerbread house for my grandsons, Walter and Nick. When we bake together, we create wonderful memories. Sometimes it's a train or gingerbread men. If I buy a kit, then the gingerbread is really just good for decorating but not for eating. This disappoints my son, Eric, who really loves to have a little taste around the holidays. So, here is a way to enjoy the taste of freshly made gingerbread without worrying if it's stale! And--you can still make the gingerbread kits.
