Ingredients:  
1 c fresh squeezed orange juice
1 c chicken broth
1/4 to 1/2 c mayhaw jelly (plum may be used)
2 T kumquat preserves
1/4 tsp ground ginger
shake & blend flour & salt to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients & cook down for 15 to 20 minutes. Thicken to desired consistency with flour.

Margaret had made kumquat preserves by cooking the fruit down with sugar & lemon juice. Could probably substitute orange or tangerine preserves. We served this over fried duck breast chunks. Would also be good with chicken or pork.
