2 eggs, beaten
1/4 C milk
1/3 C butter, melted
1 C sugar
3 C cooked, mashed sweet potatoes
1 tsp. vanilla
1 C shredded coconut (optional)

Topping:
1 C chopped nuts (pecans are best)
1 C brown sugar
1/3 C melted butter
1/2 C flour
cinnamon and nutmeg (or "pumpkin pie seasoning", sprinkled over top before baking)

Directions:
Directions:
(Prick sweet potatoes and bake on tray in oven like regular potatoes or cut them up and boil in a large pot.) Cool, peel, mash and mix sweet potatoes with other ingredients and place in buttered 9x13 inch pan. Mix topping ingredients and sprinkle across. Bake 20 minutes at 350º.

A Thanksgiving family favorite for sure. WARNING: Can be confused with dessert! You may be interested in doubling the sweet potato or halving the sugar if you prefer less sweetness.
