1/2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
2 T. margarine, softened
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract

Frosting for Frosted Carrot Cake (see recipe)

Mix the above ingredients in a small bowl at medium speed until smooth. Gradually beat in 3/4 c. confectioners' sugar until fluffy. Top with 1/4 c. chopped pecans.
