4 cups flour
4 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup sugar
2 eggs, beaten
2 tbsp butter, melted
1 cup milk

Directions:
Directions:
Sift flour, salt, and baking powder. Mix in sugar and butter. Add eggs. Add flour and milk alternating. Turn onto well-floured board and roll out to 1/2" thick. Cut with doughnut cutter. Let stand 5 mins. Fry in a pot of hot grease until light brown. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
