pancakes:
3 cups flour
2 T. shortening
3 T. sugar
1 tsp. salt
4 tsps. baking powdeer
1 egg
3 cups milk

Homemade maple syrup
1/2 tsp. maple flavoring
2 cups sugar
1 cup water

Directions:
Directions:
Pancakes: Mix all the ingredients tigether and scoop on hot griddle.

Syrup:
Mix all the ingredients together and bring to a boil. Let cool or serve hot on pancakes or also on waffles. This way you will never run out. It is always at your fingertips to make.
