1 c. sugar
1/2 c. boiling water
2 tbsp. evaporated milk

Directions:
Directions:
Place the sugar in a heavy saucepan. Heat slowly until melted and brown, stirring constantly. Add boiling water slowly, stirring vigorously. Cook until syrupy and all the sugar has melted. Remove from heat and add evaporated milk. Serve hot or cold. If too thick when cold, add a little cream. Makes 1 cup. Serve over ice cream.
