1 lb. pecans
1 c. sugar
2 egg whites
1/2 c. butter
dash of salt

Directions:
Directions:
Toast nuts in 350º oven until light brown.

Beat egg whites until stiff peak forms. Fold in sugar and nuts.

Melt butter on cookie sheet and spread nut mixture over buttered pan.

Bake at 325º for 30 minutes. Stir every 10 minutes or until nuts are light brown.
