2 gallon green tomatoes (run through a grinder)
6 hot peppers
1 gallon green peppers (run through a grinder)
3 # onions
1 head cabbage (optional - Aunt Anita doesn't use!)
1 c salt
5 c vinegar
6 c sugar
1 Tbsp Pickling Spice All Spice
1 Tbsp Tumeric
1 Tbsp celery seed

Directions:

After all ingredients are ground, put in a long baking pan (Not aluminum). Sprinkle 1 cup salt and mix throughly. Leave over night.
Next day: Pour into colander to drain juice out. (Spray a little water over the mixture to rinse out some of the salt.)
While draining, mix vinegar, sugar, and spices. Pour over drained tomato mixture and mix thoroughly.
Bring mixture to boil ( 5 - 10 minutes).
Put in canning jars and seal tightly.
