2 Cups Sugar
1/4 Tsp. Salt
2 1oz. Unsweetened Chocolate Squares
2 Tbsps. Light Corn Syrup
2 Tbsps. Butter
1 Tsp. Vanilla
3/4 Chopped Walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
Combine sugar, salt, corn syrup, butter, and milk in a sauce pan, mix thoroughly. Cook slowly until candy thermometer is at Soft Ball. (234º) Stirring occasionally to keep mixture from burning. Remove from heat. Let stand undisturbed until cool. Add flavoring and walnut pieces, beat with a wood spoon until creamy. Pout into buttered square 8" x 8" x 2" pan. Cool completely.

This was another favorite candy that my dad (Rod Epps) used to make at Christmas. Sometimes the fudge would be grainy but it never stopped us from eating it!
