1 c. oil
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
3/4 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. diced apples, peeled or unpeeled
1 c. chopped nuts
Caramel icing:
1/2 c. butter
3 tbsp. milk
3/4 c. brown sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Mix oil, eggs, sugar and vanilla. Add flour, soda and salt. Add apples and nuts. Bake in sprayed 9 x 13 in. pan at 350º for 50-60 min.
Mix icing ingredients together and boil together for 2 1/2 min. Ice cake while hot.
