2 Cups flour
4 t. baking powder
3 t. sugar
½ t. salt
½ cup shortening
1 egg
2/3 cup milk
1 T. Honey

Directions:
Directions:
In a bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, sugar and salt. Cut in shortening until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Combine the egg, milk and honey; stir into flour fixture just until combined. Turn onto a floured surface; knead 8-10 times. Roll out to ½ inch thickness. Cut with a floured 2 ½ biscuit cutter. Place 1 inch apart on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 425 degrees for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. Serve Warm.
