1 lb box macaroni of your choice
1/2 stick butter
2 cups milk
1 tbsp flour
2 blocks Sharp white cheddar cheese, grated
Pinch of salt and pepper

Topping:
1/2 cup crushed bread crumbs, or
1/2 cup crushed potatoe chips

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Cook macaroni according to package directions. Drain and set aside in greased baking dish. In a medium saucepan, melt butter and milk over med low heat. Add flour. Whisk until flour is dissolved and mixture starts to thicken. Add cheese, pepper, and saly. Stir until melted. Pour over macaroni and add topping, if desired. Bake until bubbly and slightly brown on top.
