10 n-12 large potatoes
2 1/2 cups white sauce
1 cup bread crumbs
3 tbsp butter
1 1/2 cup American cheese, grated or cheddar cheese
2 cups ham diced
onions

Directions:
Directions:
boil potatoes, slice in 1/2 inch slices
prepare white sauce
add cheese stir until blended, if sauce gets to thick add milk, melt butter, pour over crumbs
butter casserole dish
assemble the casserole in this manner:
potatoes, white sauce, crumbs, ham and onions, save enough sauce to top casserole
Bake @ 350 covered 20 minutes, take top off and cook another 10 minutes

White Sauce:
1 cup milk
2 tbsp flour
2 tbsp fat
1/2 tsp salt
melt fat, add flour
warm milk and add to fat and flour, stir over low heat or place in top broiler and cook for 15-20 minutes, add salt
