1/2 cup butter
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
4oz bittersweet chocolate (chopped)
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
6oz white chocolate, in small chunks
2 eggs
1 cup dried cherries or dried cranberries
2 tsp. vanilla

Preheat oven to 350. Line baking sheets with parchment paper. Melt butter in a pot over low heat. Add bittersweet chocolate and stir until smooth. Remove from heat and move to a bowl. Beat in sugar, eggs and vanilla. Combine flour, baking powder and salt. Blend flour mix into chocolate mix. Stir in white chocolate and dried cherries. Drop onto baking sheets 1tbsp mounds 2 inch apart. bake for 10 to 11 mins. Do not over bake. Allow to cool.
