3 cups self-rising flour
4 T. sugar
1 (12-ounce) can of beer

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375°F. Grease or spray a 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan with nonstick cooking spray.
Combine all ingredients, mixing well. Batter will be very thick.
Pour into prepared loaf pan and bake for 45 minutes.
Melt 1/3 to 1/2 c of butter or margarine and pour over loaf. Bake another 15 minutes.
Let set in pan 10 minutes and then remove and cool.
