1 1/4 cups eggs beaten or liquid eggs
2 1/4 c sugar
1 1/2 tsp. salt
2 c corn syrup
1/8 c ( 2 T) melted margarine
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
1/2 c milk
3/4 c pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Blend eggs and sugar and salt. Blend in corn syrup. Add in melted margarine. Add in vanilla and milk .Blend all till mixed thoroughly.

Pour into unbaked pie shell. Sprinkle pecans over top. Bake on a tray in oven for 30 minutes at 325º and then another 35 minutes at 350º Insert a knife. the filling will look clear on the knife when done.

This is a pie we make at Gustavus Adolphus. Delores Decker thought it was the best pecan pie she has ever had. I have tried to pare the original recipe for 14 pies down to a single pie. This is the closest I could come. I hope it works for you.
