1 3/4 c flour
1 1/3 c sugar
1 t salt
1 3/4 t baking soda
1/3 c shortening
1 c milk
1 t vanilla
1/4 c water, mixed with 3 1/2 squares chocolate
2 large eggs
Directions:
Directions:
Sift all dry ingredients together in mixing bowl. Add all other ingredients except eggs. Beat 2 mins.
Add eggs & beat 2 more mins.

Have milk & eggs at room temperature.

Bake 325 degrees 35-40 mins.
