2 lbs. fresh or frozen small lima beans
3 c. fresh corn cut from cob or frozen
1 large onion, chopped
3 qts. water
3T bacon drippings
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Bring water,corn,beans and onions to boil in a large boiler. Boil for 15 minutes. Add bacon drippings and seasoning; reduce heat and simmer for about an hour longer.
