½ cup butter, softened
1 Tbsp.minced onion
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
22 - 24 slices of white bread
1 (15 oz.) can of asparagus spears, well drained
Sliced black olives
Pimento strips
Horseradish & mayonnaise to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Combine first 3 ingredients. Mix well, and set aside. Trim crust from bread and roll each slice to 1/8” thickness. Spread butter mixture on slices. Add an asparagus spear and roll each bread slices diagonally. Secure with a toothpick. Brush roll-ups with melted butter. Bake at 350 for about 20-30 minutes. Garnish with pimento and black olive slices. Serve with horseradish mayonnaise mixture.
